The studies on the fluid environment of ascaris: influence of pH and effect of antibiotics and antimycotics (dehydroacetic acid) in fluid media upon the survival length and the duration of normal locomotion.

چکیده
The typical locomotion of ascaris was found and studied by Kobayashi and Bando (1950) in a glass-tube of the appropriate diameter filled with Ringer or Bunge's solution. They also observed that santonin in vitro did not influence on survival-length of ascaris, but induced a spasmodic curling around the body of ascaris which seemed to be a kind of convulsion caused by the drug. It was supposed that the ascaris being convulsed by drug in vitro would be expelled out of the colon by the peristaltic movements of the small intestine ultimately (Kobayashi and Bando, 1950; Kobayashi et al., 1952). Thereafter the more details of ascaris's life under many different environments have been studied by us. The present report includes the studies on influence of pH of fluid, addition of antibiotics and antimycotics upon ascaris in vitro. This may be basic problems to be solved for the research works of ascaris in the human bowel.

Effect of Thermal Environment on Vibration Analysis of Partially Cracked Thin Isotropic Plate Submerged in Fluid
Based on a non classical plate theory, an analytical model is proposed for the first time to analyze free vibration problem of partially cracked thin isotropic submerged plate in the presence of thermal environment. The governing equation for the cracked plate is derived using the Kirchhoff’s thin plate theory and the modified couple stress theory. The crack terms are formulated using simplifie...

Background: Multiple Myeloma is a Plasma Cell Malignancy. Since the study of pathogenicity mechanisms and messenger pathways involved in the causative agent cells is important in the laboratory environment and close to the physiological environment of the body, therefore, the best environment for the study of cells in the laboratory environment, an environment most closely resembling the physio...

The Shalang vein-type polymetallic ore deposit is located about 10 km southwest of Kerman and 70 km northeast of Sirjan, and lies in the central part of the Dehaj-Sarduieh metallogenic belt. This deposit is hosted by dacitic and andesitic vitric and crystal tuffs along with andesitic-dacitic lava flows of Eocene age. The alteration zones related to this deposit are propylitic, intermediate argi...

ABSTRACT Background and Objective: Lactic acid bacteria are Gram-positive, catalase-negative, nonsporulating, either rod- or coccus-shaped bacteria that have beneficial effects on their hosts by producing antimicrobial substances such as lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, bacteriocins and biosurfactants. Bacteriocins are antimicrobial peptides that a...
